Patty Haft inherited her love of art and art History from her father who always inspired and encouraged her. Born in Manhattan and then growing up in Los Angeles, she always had her hands in art and prioritized it throughout high school and then continued to study design, illustration, and advertising at the Art Center, which paved the way for a successful career in entertainment advertising as an Art Director and ultimately opening her own advertising agency for 15 years. Her clients included international filmmakers and major studios. Patty never abandoned her love of art while raising her 2 children. She continued to experiment with different mediums while always finding her way back to her first love being painting. She says, “I paint the way I view life; where things often look somewhat distorted or a bit off, but enough to catch your eye for another look". Retired now with grandkids, Patty paints to her hearts content. Her award winning paintings and commissions are her passion. “It’s all in the eyes,” she says.
